Emmanuel’s passion for conservation started when he was very young. With a park ranger for a father, Emmanuel spent his childhood living inside the various national parks throughout Malawi. After finishing high school, he studied Wildlife Management through a government sponsored Field Ranger’s course and became a Park and Wildlife Assistant for the Department of National Parks & Wildlife.
After 3 years of working for the government, he moved into the hospitality sector as an Assistant Manager/Safari Guide and slowly made his way up to becoming the first Malawian to become the General Manager for Tongole Wilderness Lodge, in Nkhotakhota Reserve. In 2022, Emmanuel moved to Majete as the Tourism Manager where he now gets to combine his two passions of hospitality and conservation.
